We can put together daytours full of experience and contrasts in a safe and personal surrounding.

Local food, culture and cosyness.
Season: November 15th to March 31st.
Duration: A full day tour.

We will pick you up in the morning and start the day with a beautifull breakfast on the sheep farm Holt in Þistilfjörður which also operates as Grásteinn guesthouse. Afterwards we will head to the sheep house to meet the farm animals.

When lunch time arrives we will visit Ytra-Lón guesthouse and sheep farm on the Langanes peninsula and taste a delicious home made, home grown food.
After a tasty lunch we will head over to the sheep house to meet the farm animals and also find out how the family uses driftwood that arrives on to shores all the way from Siberia.

After a good day we head out to the house Melar in Kópasker village where you will get the chance to relax in a geothermal hot tub. In the tub you will enjoy local delicacie starters untill you are ready to step out, get dressed and come inside to enjoy a beautifully prepared dinner.

At the end of the evening you will be taken back to your accommodation.

In between breakfast, lunch and dinner we visit different sites and places, both depending on weather conditions and what you as a traveler are looking for (outdoor hiking, museums, interesting sites).
Northern lights sightings are a big possibility due to how far up north we are and because of very low light pollution in this rural area. This makes our area one of the best areas in Iceland for northern lights spotting.
